Jay Anstey started her career at the very young of 3 when she began doing voice-overs for TV and radio. It was in 2011 when Jay landed a leading role in local soapie “Isidingo” playing Charlie Holmes. It was also in the same year she played the lead role in “Sleepers Wake” a local feature film that gained international recognition at festivals such as TIFF and BIFF. In 2014 Jay won an award for “Best Actress in South Africa” at the IIFFSA. She is currently in pre-production to play the lead in a Cape Town feature film based on a South African novel.
