South Africa’s rate of entrepreneurial activity is low for a developing nation, only a quarter of that seen in other Sub-Saharan African countries. With the unemployment rate being around 40% of the adult population, entrepreneurship is even more necessary in South Africa. How can the culture of entrepreneurship be inspired in South Africa’s youth? Teboho Mafodi discusses how the culture of entrepreneurship can be inspired with different stakeholders making a difference in the areas of youth entrepreneurship.
