October has been a big month for poet and playwright director, Napo Masheane. Napo chose to perform her monologue at the Royal Court in London and at the same time she did the final rehearsals for her new play called ‘A New Song’ which opens tonight at the John Kani Stage at the Market Theatre – the first ever female directed play to open on this stage. Napo joins Phumi to share her excitement and she brings along some of the cast members to give us a taste of what we can expect.
