A dog drove its owner’s truck into a swimming pool after jumping on the accelerator pedal during a journey to the shops.
Caroline, a black labrador, sent the vehicle hurtling into the water after getting a fright, according to its owners Michael and Ruth Smith. Caroline had been sitting in the back during the ride to the shops, but got spooked, causing her to leap into the front footwell, where she accidentally pressed down on the accelerator of the Dodge Ram.
The vehicle smashed through a fence and into a swimming pool.
Luckily the couple weren’t injured in the accident and say they’re not blaming Caroline for the mishap.
