Turkey’s top religious authority has decreed that Muslims may use toilet paper.
Islamic toilet etiquette, called the Qadaa al-Haajah, contains rules that predate the invention of toilet paper – and they include using water to clean yourself.
But authorities have now decided that if water is unavailable, it is acceptable to use toilet paper.
