After 22 years of clowning around, Bob Perchetti is ready to trade in America’s scariest motel for time camping and fishing with his grandkids.
Located in the sleepy town of Tonopah, Nevada the clown motel has some of the cheapest rooms per night in the US at $50 per night (around R660). Not too surprising with the wall to ceiling clown deco covering each room!
Founded by Perchetti and his clown-collecting partner after years in the tourism industry, the pair have successfully managed to create every coulrophobic’s worst nightmare.
Marked to sell from $900,000 (almost R12m) Perchetti has decided to part with the motel on the condition that the new owner keeps the clowns.
