The life-size Oscar-inspired statue is bent over 2 lines of white powder (intended to look like cocaine) with a credit card lying nearby – just blocks from where the Academy Awards took place.
Plastic Jesus claims he wants to bring attention to cocaine use in Hollywood.
“Hopefully, my work will help people who have a problem and think they’re alone, but also make a difference on a governmental level. They are not doing enough.”
