What would you do if you found yourself stuck in an ATM? Would you think to slide notes through the slot?
That’s what a contractor who was working on an ATM did when he accidentally locked himself inside. He had left his cellphone and swipe card in his truck which was outside.
One of his notes read “Please help. I’m stuck in here and I don’t have my phone. Please call my boss…”.
People withdrawing cash thought it was a prank (can you blame them?), but luckily someone called police who heard a faint voice from inside the machine.
