We do a roundup of the PSL Awards, discussing Juventus’ surprise qualification for the UEFA Champion’s League final at the expense of Real Madrid, Barcelona’s La Liga triumph, Steven Gerrard’s last hoorah at Anfield. We also investigate the issue of corruption in football, more specifically FIFA. We look at the allegations of corruption levelled against FIFA and the incumbent president, “Septic Bladder” in light of the Qatar 2022 world cup bid.
