Adriaan interviews leader Meaza Ashenafi – gender advisor at UNECA; Founding Executive Director of the Ethiopian Women Lawyers Association (1995-2004), and Founding Chair ENat Bank since 2011… the first “women’s bank” in Ethiopia. She was a 2005 nominee for a Nobel Peace Prize for her advocacy on behalf of women, and is a ‘Women’s Rights Advisor’ to the UN Economic Commission for Africa. Meaza was also a recent guest speaker at the Business Women of the Year Awards.
