Graduating from Wits with a BA degree and LLB (UNISA) in 1993, Jerome was admitted as a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court in 2012 and joined Fluxmans and became a Director in 2003. While Steven Fisher was still figuring out what he wanted to do when he grew up, he became a specialist in Property law - including conveyancing and commercial property work. After completing his articles, he joined Werksmans where he remained for 10 years. Steven was appointed as a director in 1999 and moved to Fluxmans 2004. An committed family man, avid road runner and volunteer for community projects, Steven says he’s still not sure what he wants to do when he grows up!

Jonathan is a self-described “handsome baby” who became a law student at Wits with an LLB in 2006. He served his articles at Fluxmans and was admitted as to an attorney in 2004, later becoming a Director of Fluxmans in 2007. His area of expertise is commercial and civil litigation, including debt recovery, dispute resolution, construction related disputes, and even litigation relating to billboards and outdoor advertising. Jonathan has also been involved in disputes around tender awards by organs of state such as PRASA, Eskom and various municipalities. His interests are playing guitar, boxing and mindfulness (meditation).

Charles started off in politics and lobbying... but we all make mistakes. Fate had a future carved out for him in law, and Charles specialises in corporate, mergers and acquisitions law, especially in the retail, franchise and mining sectors. He has extensive experience in advising domestic and international clients on their South African and African operations. He does all of this while being cool, calm and collected, in the comfort of his office. Charles, a Director of Fluxmans since 2016, has a BA LLB( Wits), certificates in Mining Law and IT Law and a member of the Law Society of South Africa’s tax matters and exchange control committee. Full of wisdom and fascinating stories – that’s one way to describe Lionel Dos Passos. He started out studying a BSc at Wits in 1996 majoring in Microbiology, Genetics and Advanced Biology. He later completed his LLB (with distinction) at Wits in 2001 and commenced articles at Fluxmans in 2002, becoming a Director in 2007. Lionel’s focus is litigation and insolvency and business rescue. He also keeps the balance with a wide range of interests and hobbies including travelling, reading extensively, going to gym and watching Premier League football.
