The Phootball Show

It's the last episode of The Phootball Show on CliffCentral. The guys do a wrap-up of the week's transfer news - both locally and internationally - as well as review some of the pre-season results that are slowly trickling in. They also do a recap of their favourite moments on the show in the last year and a bit.

The guys discuss their favourite topic in world sport - doping. With allegations that the Russian intelligence service, the FSB, were involved in the doping scandal, they look at what impact a ban could have on the reputation of Russian football and sport in general - considering Russia is the host nation of the 2018 World Cup in just two years.

The curtain has come down on what has been a very poor Euro 2016 finals. The team dissects the final itself, and the unlikely story of Portugal as champions of Europe. They also look at why the match was dubbed the African Union final - with 16 of the 22 players on the pitch having African roots.

The team looks back on the matches, fairytales, surprises and upsets from Euro 2016. They also build up to the semi-finals on Wednesday and Thursday, before giving their take on who the two finalists will be.
