Adriaan and Louis zoom in on Businesswoman of the Year finalist Patricia Dlamini, who spearheads development and societal transformation at the helm of her organisation - the Uitenhage Despatch Development Initiative (UDDI). She founded the ’She Has a Voice to Tell her Story’ project and focuses on identifying young girls in townships from underprivileged homes to offer them mentorship and guidance.

Adriaan, Louis and Ellis zoom in on two inspiring leaders who are finalists in the Businesswoman of the Year: Candy Tothill from Tsogo Sun (GM of Corporate Affairs, tourism expert and published author) and Funeka Montjane from Standard Bank (Chief Executive in personal and business banking, previous award winner and someone who became a partner at the age of 27 at PriceWaterhouseCoopers).

Adriaan, Louis, Ellis and Dr Brenda Hattingh are joined by special guest Ramasela Ganda. They look at her leadership career and how she feels about leadership, business and more. Under her leadership, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality achieved its first clean audit, and has maintained that momentum. In May 2016, the municipality received the country’s highest credit rating from Moody’s.

The team continues their conversation with mayoral candidates. They chat with Solly Msimanga (DA Mayoral candidate for Tshwane) and Herman Mashaba (DA Mayoral candidate for Johannesburg).

With the municipal elections coming up this week, the team is excited to interview mayoral candidates. Parks Tau (Mayor of Johannesburg) is their first guest.

Adriaan, Louis and Ellis - along with Sibanye CFO Charl Keyter, engage former Minister of Finance, Mr Nhlanhla Nene about his leadership journey and learnings from recent events that had the country up in arms.

As the world celebrates Nelson Mandela’s birthday, the team features Madiba Leadership and Madiba Magic with Brenda Hattingh, author of the book, 7 Steps to Secure the Madiba Magic in Life and Leadership.

Louis and Ellis talk with Dhiren Govendor - CEO and founder of Brightest Young Minds. Koketso Rampyapedi, an alumnus, joins Dhiren as they discuss the vision and organisation of Brightest Young Minds.

The team engage Thomas Konditi in more depth on his origins and leadership journey, up to being the President and CEO of GE Transportation Africa and GE South Africa.
