The spotlight fell on the crème de la crème in the U.S. prime time television world once again last night for the 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards held in Los Angeles, California. With Game of Thrones shattering records, actress Viola Davis’ inspiring acceptance speech and comedian Andy Samberg hosting, the awards were not short of entertaining moments – here are five stand-out moments from the evening via some of our favourite celeb’s Instagram feeds.
SA’S GOLDEN BOY SHINES IN RALPH LAUREN
Trevor Noah took a moment to snap his dapper attire before he headed out to support Jon Stewart and The Daily Show, amongst others, which went on to win awards in the “Outstanding Variety Talk Series”, “Directing For A Variety Show” and “Writing For A Variety Series” categories.
SEACREST AND SPACEY HANG OUT
Entertainment all-rounder Ryan Seacrest had a bit of a “fan girl” moment when House of Cards star stopped by the E! Entertainment station as he brought us all of the action live from the red carpet – we can’t judge you, Seacrest, we would have acted the exact same way!

ROLLING WITH THE ROSSES
Actress Tracee Ellis Ross snapped a selfie with her brother and date for the evening, Evan. As gorgeous as they both looked, we couldn’t help noticing just how much Tracee looked like her musician mother, Diana.
TIRED IS THE NEW BLACK
You can definitely see the effects of the long evening of celebrations on the cast of Orange Is The New Black in this picture! Matt McGorry (John Bennett), Yael Stone (Lorna Morello) and Laura Prepon (Alex Vause) got comfy on the steps of the Microsoft Theater after their cast-mate, Uzo Aduba, winning in the “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series” category.

THE NIGHT IS YOUNG… AND SO IS THE CAST
Sofia Vergara and Jesse Tyler Ferguson showed their 16-year-old co-star Nolan Gould how to party the night away even though they all left without a golden statuette. The Modern Family production got the “Outstanding Comedy Series” award snatched away from them by Veep after dominating the category for the past five years.
