Kovie Biakolo is a “lady, scholar, and shot caller”, in her own words. A Nigerian-born third culture kid, with an educational background in marketing and politics initially, and multiculturalism most recently, she currently resides in Chicago. She works as a senior writer and cultural advocate for ‘Thought Catalog’ where she focuses on writing, producing, and “dialoguing” about a variety of cultural conversations – from sociopolitical issues to sports, to the everyday generational struggles of being a millennial. She has an e-book and collection of essays called,”Conversations for Smart People”, and still doesn’t regret the title.
