Known to some as ‘The Kanye West of Literature’, Benedict Smith has certainly created a fan base for himself and his written word. As a child he battled with a speech impediment which caused him to be very shy, he found his outlet in writing. Benedict once won a NASA poetry competition and ended up having his haiku sent to Mars on their MAVEN probe. He credits some of his writing with the depression and anxiety which he had to battle with in the past. Benedict joins Arye Kellman via Skype from London to reveal his journey.
