Valerie Schaer – Executive Vice President, Creative Affairs, NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution is responsible for development of original programming, marketing and public relations with a long history of being the behind-the-scenes of some of our favourite shows – The View, All My Children, General Hospital, Crossing Over and The Steve Harvey Show – just to name a few.
Previously Val served as Executive Vice President of Creative Development at Oprah’s Harpo Productions and was also Supervising Producer of the documentary feature film following the first graduating class of Oprah Winfrey’s Leadership Academy for Girls.
Val is currently working with Harry Connick, Jr, (currently a judge on American Idol), and is an integral part in the development and production of Harry, debuting later this year.[/mpaper]
