Multi-award winning director and playwright Aubrey Sekhabi has had his work nominated more than 60 times and won numerous awards along the way. He retells his experiences from writing his first play at the age of 15, tackling productions with heavy historical and cultural significance and currently taking on ‘Marikana – The Musical’. From also working on the likes of the Nelson Mandela Memorial service, he discusses what his future plans are too.
